Hi I'm Bryan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ii am a father of three and a grandfather of six. I have worked at a Trona mine and refinery for 31 years. Trona is refined into soda ash which is used in the making glass.

Why I am a Mormon

I in earnest prayer sought to know the truth of Jesus Christ, His gospel, and the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ in these latter days through the prophet Joseph Smith as taught to me, in my youth, by my parents, Robert and Dorris Hughes. I can honestly bear witness the the Holy Spirit bore witness to me that Jesus is the Christ, the promised Messiah, that indeed He is the son of God and atoned for my sins, everyone's sins in Gethsamane and upon the cross on Calvary. I also bear witness that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored in these latter days though the prophet, Joseph Smith, he indeed saw God the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I bear witness that the priesthood has been restored and I testify that a second witness of Jesus Christ has been brought forth through the sacred writings found in the Book of Mormon, the Bible being the first witness of Jesus Christ. I cherish both the Bible and the Book of Mormon as scriptures from our loving Heavenly Father to help guide me and bring me unto Christ in these latter days. I bear witness that we have a living prophet on the earth today in Thomas S. Monson, through whom the Lord Jesus Christ gives us all words of wisdom to live by in this day and age. I love His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormons"), and being part of it. I am a Mormon boy, I am a Christian, Jesus is my Savior, how I love him, This gospel brings me great joy, even through trials and tribulations, I can smile because I know Jesus is the Christ and HE suffered all for me. How I live my faith

I try to live by our Savior, Jesus Christ's words "Come Follow Me". He set an example for me to follow, that of treating others with kindness, a love of all mankind, and serving others. In humility I try to emulate His example. I am not perfect, but I have felt and know the power of repentance through faith in Christ and repenting of my sins. I faithfully serve as a ward missionary and as an instructor to the adult males on Sundays. I have been involved for the past 20 years on a Surface Rescue Team in rescuing and administring First-aid to those involved in industrial accidents at my employment site, OCI Chemical of Wyoming, a trona mine and refinery. As a team member and trainer we have won several national Surface Rescue Competitions throughout the Western United States and Canada.
