Hi I'm Jordan

Student, family man, very happy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in an LDS family which I am forever grateful for. My faithful parents and loved ones taught me pretty much everything I needed to know. Sports are a huge part of my life and I played everything a young person could play. As I started to get older, my interest in the outdoors grew and I spent more time there than anywhere else. I love to be in the mountains with friends and just have fun. I love fixing things; especially cars and trucks. I was always known as the one who could fix anything. I am currently attending university in hopes of becoming a teacher. My family is the most important thing to me in my life, and would do anything for them. I like to be happy and help others be happy too.

Why I am a Mormon

While preparing to serve a full time mission I became more interested in the church. I never had a reason not to believe what I had been taught. As I started learning the Doctrine of Jesus Christ and the reality of the Book of Mormon the doubts started to creep in. I finally realized after so many years that I had never asked in prayer if all of it was true. I started to question different things until I wasnt sure about the Book of Mormon. I figured if I was teaching people about this Book I needed to know it was true. I took on the challenge that anyone who sincerely reads, ponders, and prays about the Book will know its true by the power of the Holy Ghost. It took a lot of work and effort, but the answer came through a teacher and something he said. An overwhleming sense of peace came over me and I know now that the Book of Mormon is true. As a missionary I have had that confirmed many times over. I have lived the gospel and experienced the blessings that come from our Father in Heaven. He has answered my prayers.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best person I can be. Whenever there is someone in need, I do what I can to help out. Helping move, haul hay, and yard work are some examples. I simply live the standards given to us from leaders and try to be an example. One way is that I decided to serve a 2 year mission. Sharing your faith with others is so rewarding.
