Hi I'm Amanda

I am a business college student, a fantastic cook, major foodie, an adventurer, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

There are so many things that I love to do it was hard to decide what I wanted to do for school, I am a writer, cook, and baker mostly as a hobby. I am currently in my third year of college and I am loving it! I am best friends with my little sister and my mom's week end travel buddy. I am easy going and I love nature. I love food. I like making it, and buying it, and trying out different resturants from all over the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this remarkable religion but that doesn't mean that I didn't struggle to have faith in it. My real test occured durring highschool. I have always had a hard time making friends. In highschool I thought I had finally found a group that had accepted me but this was not the case, our values were too different, and they were participating in activities that were not in line with my values. I struggled through out highschool with lonliness, depression, worthless, with no plan or direction. That is when I decided to turn to the Lord for help, I needed guidance. Through faith, loving parents, and a dilligent search for the truth I discovered not only was I not alone but I had a Father in Heaven who loved me. This gave me the courage I needed. I have a loving family and the members of the church as my support system, with faith in Jesus Christ as my backbone. I know that God will help us through our trials but we must seek him out first. My Testimony is a summary of my beliefs in this gospel. I love the Lord, and I love the things that this church stands for.

How I live my faith

I try my best to be a good person, a good friend, and be honest in my work and studies. I attend church, attend fire sides, sing in the chior, attend FHE in my ward group (because I am a Young Single Adult going to BYU), and visit teach.
