Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a Californian. I cook aebleskiver for my my family. I love motivating people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to make people laugh and realize the good in their lives. I try to do this in the work place on a consistent basis. My profession is coaching Managers and Supervisors on how to improve their workplace teams. I enjoy meeting with people one one one giving feedback on how to improve their work performance and be better people. I also enjoy working and leading teams. At work, I always tell people "it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood". I have learned that everyone is different, and yes, even "Mormons" are different from each other. I have yet to find two "Mormons" that are exactly the same. We all have different lives, interests, loves, and talents....makes it kind of fun! I am a father with two children that continually teach me how to grow and be a better person. True happiness comes when I can help them grow. My daughter is currently learning the Spanish language and sharing her beliefs. She is a wonderful person. Where else can you find such joy?

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have parents that raised me in the church. My father was not a member when he married my mother and over many years, he started attending church, was baptized, and became an example of how to lead my life. I am a Mormon because I received an answer to my prayers regarding the reestablishment of the Church of Jesus Christ in todays modern times. My parents raised me with a belief in Christ's atonement, a desire to serve, and a knowledge of my purpose on this earth. I choose to serve a mission for the church and had experiences that I will never forget or trade. I was married in the temple and have a loving wife that knows what I need before I even realize it! I have two children that I am trying to help find Christ in their lives. I have always known that Jesus Christ reestablished his church on the earth through Joseph Smith. At a young age I have had experiences where my Heavenly Father has answered my prayers and guided me on the path to return to him. I am a Mormon because when I make the decisions that I should make, I feel at peace with myself and know that God is happy with me. When I do not make the right decisions, I can feel my relationship with God changing...and it leads to unhappiness on my part. I am a member of God's church because he loves me and has provided a way for me to be forgiven of my many sins.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time, one person at a time, and one opportunity to serve at a time. I live my faith by helping others find peace in their lives. I have had several opportunities to serve in my local congregation. I worked with the 12-18 year young men in our congregation for several years. Some of my best memories are water activities at Shaver Lake, Mountain Biking at Mammoth Mountain, paint ball wars at Owens Ranch, and hiking into the Havasupai Indian Reservation. I live my faith by studying what prophets have to say, by reading the Bible, and by serving God.
