Hi I'm Paige

I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I'm a podcaster. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of five. I have three boys and two beautiful girls who keep me busy everyday. I have always wanted a big family and now that I have my wish, I work everyday to be the best mother I can be. I realize that these years are fleeting and that soon I will have only memories. I have a podcast called MommyCast where I have great opportunities to interview other mothers and parenting experts which has really helped me to put together ideas on how to stay motivated and excited about motherhood. I also love to knit and crochet. I try to make something everyday because it helps me to meditate and relax. I have started running and in the past year I have completed 3 half marathons and 1 relay race that was 197 miles long.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon when I was 19 years old. I had struggled through my teen years making difficult choices that ended up limiting me. I had always believed in God and that Jesus was my savior but it wasn't until I met the missionaries that I realized how to really make Christ part of my life. My decision to become a Mormon has gotten me to this point in my life. I have based all of my decisions on gospel principles and I have greatly benefited from it. It was the best decision I have ever made.

How I live my faith

I study my scriptures daily and I teach 6 year olds at church on Sunday. My husband and I pray together and individually each day. We pray with our children and for them. We remind our children in our Monday night family meetings that serving others is the answer to finding happiness. We have family dinner together each night and challenge each other in scripture study. Most importantly I work to be an example of love and kindness to my family, friends and associates. I am far from perfect but these are my goals. Most of the time I am watching my friends and family and taking notes on how I can do better myself. Then I pray for the inspiration and fortitude to be better everyday.
