Hi I'm Brad

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work with a carpet cleaning company after six long years with a shipping company. I love taking care of my family as I can and I like being able to help those clients that I see now. Collage is slow with work and family too, but I know that heaven has a hand in it.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into a Latter Day Saint home, (Mormon) I could have left long ago. I didn't have anything wrong with it, yet in my teens I decided to get a definitive answer for myself before going on a mission. I had been taught that as sure as I could feel good about doing right things and guilty ill of others, I could feel that God's spirit could cause me to feel if the church was true as well, if I asked. It was a searching question that required time and effort which I did eventually receive, and it is God's fold on the earth. I needed a burning desire to know and a willingness to follow, even if I was wrong.

How I live my faith

I can't tell you how many times I've stopped in the middle of the highway and tried to help the stranded vehicle and its owner. I find it amusing that most think I want money for it too. Christ-like service is one of the marks of a Christian. I also do what I can to those I come in contact with and I serve in the local Ward (local congregation) by teaching in the nursery with my wife.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Absolutely not! If they did, I wouldn’t be one. The confusion comes from people thinking that Joseph Smith created “Mormonism.” In reality, Joseph Smith is a prophet, just as Isaiah or Samuel, called by God himself to continue his work long after the Apostles. As part of that work he was commanded to bring back the original church that Christ had formed centuries earlier. Show more Show less
