Hi I'm Steven

I grew up in small town Arizona. I enjoy playing all types of sports. I have four kids (one already in heaven) and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Steven Palmer. I teach Seminary at a local High School. I love to play and coach and watch sports. I enjoy my family. I come from a family of 10 kids. I am married to the wonderful Kami Palmer! She is fantastic. We have three children; Aubrey, Jake, and Emily. Aubrey had a disorder called Trisomy 18 and ended up stillborn. We grieve her passing, but look forward to being with her forever. I also enjoy art, music, a good movie, outdoors (especially hiking and camping), and just being with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's church on earth. I enjoy the guidance of a living prophet. I also enjoy the personal guidance of the Holy Ghost in my life when I live as he would have me live. Though I make MANY mistakes, I am grateful for his grace and know that through my efforts and his mercy, I can return to Him and live with Him and my family one day.

How I live my faith

I serve in our ward as a member of our bishopric. Basically all that means is that I have a responsibility to help ward members in any and every way that I possibly can. My main focus is the youth. I love the youth and try my very best to serve them and help them succeed in life. They are the future of the world. They have such potential and I consider myself lucky to be able to spend time with them on a daily basis.

What is being a Mormon like?

Steven
Awesome! It appears restricting from the outside, but the truth is that what appears as restrictions are actually safeguards. If you lived on top of a hill, wouldn't you build a fence by the edge? Our guidelines are just like that. Fences to keep us from falling into the pit of sin that this world is sometimes full of. Show more Show less
