Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Minnesota, I am a father, hockey coach and player, an IT specialist, and I am a Utah Utes fan!

About Me

I am a Hawaiian who has been transplanted from Hawaii to Minnesota. I live, breath, and Sleep Hockey. I have played since I was 9 years old. I played youth hockey, High school, college and semi-pro.and my sons have played their whole life as well. I have been coaching hockey and other sports for 14 years now. I have five beautiful Kids. 4 adults and 1 who is 10 years old. I also have a grand daughter who is 7. I am new to the church. I love the gospel, it has come alive in my life, and it refreshing that I have brothers and sisters who share the same excitement as I do. It is new and exciting to me. It has given me hope and I am excited about my future.

Why I am a Mormon

As I examined the Gospel of Jesus Christ I came to the understanding that He loves and cares for us today. Having a current church that gives us direction today, makes the gospel alive and exciting. Continuing to study the scriptures and living and practicing Heavenly Fathers commandments and ordinances I have received tremendous benefits of peace. I love and cherish Our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, my brothers and sisters and the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith just like a hockey player. I live and study the scriptures as hard and fast as I can. When I want progress and get happy when I see it and when I don't see progress I try harder. When I get discouraged I have my brothers of faith who are there to encourage me. My personal testimony has shown me that Our heavenly father is incredible and doing things his way life is easier. I work hard to provide services for my ward family and when I do this, I am able to cope with the tremendous challenges that have come into my life. The more I learn the more life has taken on meaning and I am excited about my future which is different with the way the world is today. I encourage you to read the book of Mormon and attain your own personal testimony and find out why the Gospel of Jesus Christ is so fantastic !
