Hi I'm Laura

I'm a mother of two and a navy wife. I live in FL but grew up in CO. I design my own kniting patterns. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband is in the Navy and travels alot so sometimes i feel like a single mother who is not so single. I have two beautiful boys. I love to Knit and Crochet and am learning how to design things. I LOVE my sewing machine but im still learning how to use it well. I went to school for medical assisting and finished top of my class but I decided i would rather stay home with my boys and so that is what i do. And i love it! We love parks and zoos and the beach and really anywhere we can get dirty. Im basicly your average stay at home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life. As was my father and my entire family on his side. My mother joined the church when she met my dad. I am still a member because i believe that it is the one true church of christ and i feel his spirit present everytime i attend services. when i read the scriptures his message rings true and i feel true happieness. and for a young mom like me who is often alone that is a huge deal. Im also a member because of the comradery and family atmosphere you will see in each of its wards. really tight wards are really nosey and everyone is in everyones business but everyone of them would stand up for you if you ever needed it or bring you meals or anything. The love is so strong you will see it when you first walk through the doors someone is always there to say hey im so and so how can i help? I love the lord and i love my brothers and sisters in the church they emulate his love the best they can and when they fail (which will ineveitably happen at some point or an other we are after all only human) the lords gospel is there to comfort us. I believe that to be true with all my heart. the gospel is perfect even if the people arent.

How I live my faith

I teach the newly baptised eight year olds in our church every sunday.
