Hi I'm Bill

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married since 1974 and have 6 children and 8 grandchildren. I'm a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant, retired from my life's work as a training designer, and dabble in home repairs, ham radio, and amateur theater.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, but felt like I needed to gain my own testimony of my church before serving a mission as a young man. Studying the restoration of Christ's true gospel - that there had to be a restoration through a prophet following the Apostasy in the early church - was the turning point for me. Further, my testimony of Joseph Smith and God's Word in all ages continues to grow as I study the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm preparing to serve as a full-time senior missionary with my wife in the Bentonville Arkansas Mission, sharing the gospel with others. My previous service has been as a ward mission leader, Boy Scout leader, stake councilor, and bishop. My faith in Christ grows as I serve others and study the scriptures.

Are Mormons Christians?

Bill
As our First Article of Faith states, "We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost." To those who wonder if we are Christians, I invite you, as the Savior did: "Come and see." Show more Show less
