Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a snowboarder, I'm a film maker, I'm a music lover, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Washington State. I love the good things about life. I like to live life by the seat of my pants, having as much fun as possible. You could call me a snowboard-bum, I guess. I just love hitting the slopes and riding all day. I also love movies and music. Something about the both of them just make me feel free and alive. Music can change moods and lives. I listen to everything from old rat pack type stuff to the new punk scene. I want to make movies. I feel that's my calling in life. Showing the world the things in my head and heart through film. I love life try my best to take it just one day, or even one hour, at a time.

Why I am a Mormon

To be completely honest, the reason that I am a mormon is because it is the religion that makes the most sense to me and the results that I have seen in my life as I follow the gospel are incredible. The Church has so much to offer people. The truth about God becomes an everyday occurance and makes my understanding and feelings about life expand. I become a part of something bigger than myself. I learn to help others. I learn how to find and give love more fully in my life. This church is for everyone, all types of people. It's blessed my life and I know that it can bless you too, whoever you may be.

How I live my faith

Well right now I am a missionary. I get to go around and teach people about Jesus Christ and His church. I help people broaden their view of who we are as "mormons" and help people understand that we aren't wierd-o or crazy. We are just normal, fun loving people that have centered their lives on Chirst and live as best as we can by His teachings. I love showing people that and then in turn helping them change their lives and get them out of their ruts and bring them to the wonderful knowledge of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Chirst.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Taylor
Well seeing as I currently am a missionary it's pretty easy for me to answer this. When we go into people's homes, we simply try our best to get to know you and where your understanding is about God. We then take what you know and try our best to add to what you already believe and hold dear. In no way do we want to tear down what you believe, we aren't there to tell you that you are wrong. We are there to tell you about some of the most important events in this world since the coming of the Savior Jesus Christ, and that is the story of Joseph Smith. Then we simply invite you to study out what we have taught and pray and ask God if what we have share with you and your family is true. We may look like just goofy guys in a shirt and tie, but we're pretty normal. Back home we wear jeans and a t shirt and are just all around normal dudes. There isn't anything to be afraid of or worried about. If you're wondering whether or not you should talk to the missionaries, the answer is that you should. What do you have to loose? You have everything to gain.   Show more Show less
