Hi I'm Tara!

I grew up in So. California and live in Louisiana! I am 33, love photography and being social! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. My name is Tara. I am 33 years old, grew up in Riverside County California. I am currently living in North Louisiana and raising my cousin's 14 year old daughter. My "niece" as I call her, has lived with me for 2 years now and what an adventure we have been on together! I have been on quite a few cross country road trips. I have lived in Northern and Southern California, Utah, New Jersey, Texas, and now LOUISIANA! I love traveling and hope to do more of it! I also enjoy photography, working with and spending time with children of all ages, I love Rascal Flatts, being crafty, scrapbooking, and serving others. I am always looking for opportunities to make someone else's day a little better by helping them with anything they might need. I love surprising people or just doing something kind without them knowing. - I am a pretty chill girl. My goals in life are to be as adventurous as I can and live life to the fullest! I love seeing new things, having new experiences, making true and loyal friends, and getting to know people from all types of backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, and fun personalities! Oh, and I say dude, a lot! haha.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because it brings me great joy! It brings me closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and the things that I learn and experience in this church make me a better person. I have met and gained great friends throughout my life who have been such a blessing to me and I know that no matter where I live, I can find a church close to me, people that are loving and supportive, and a place of worship that I can call home.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good person, by trying to serve my Heavenly Father each and everyday and the BEST way I can think of to do that is by serving other people. I recently found this quote like last week and I LOVE it! I never knew that I was living my life after it but, am SO GRATEFUL that as I look back on my life, so far, I feel PROUD to know that I have been. ~~"It is not enough to be good. You must be good for something. You must contribute good to the world. The world must be a better place for your presence. And the good that is in you must be spread to others. In this world so filled with problems, so constantly threatened by dark and evil challenges, you can and must rise above mediocrity, above indifference. You can become involved and speak with a strong voice for that which is right."~~ Gordon B. Hinckley
