Hi I'm Kyle DeYoung
I am a student studying Business and I LOVE to laugh! I'm trilingual in speaking English, Whale, and Hmong.
I a college student from Utah, and I am currently studying Business Administration. I love to sing, act, and dance! Basically I just like to have fun weather its messing around on Photoshopt, playing the piano, rock climbing, or just having a good time with my friends.
Why I am a Mormon
I'm a mormon because it just feels right. I grew up being a mormon and have gone to church my entire life. Looking back on it all I realized that all the values that I have now (i.e. family, friends, morally, and socially) have come from the things I have learned at church. Not only has being a mormon been able to help me with the social aspect of my life, but also spiritually. I have been able to be raised in a loving home where the principles of the gospel were taught and lived. I'm not a perfect persony, we all make mistakes, but its through the gospel of Jesus Christ that keeps my family and I close.
How I live my faith
What it all comes down to is to LIVE what you LEARN. Going to church I've learned about the having good character, being responsible, having a good work ethic. I've also learned how important it is to have FUN! I'm always looking for ways to have fun! Many people think mormons have too many rules (i.e. no coffee, no tea, don't spend money on sundays, etc) and it is impossible to have fun when you are constricted with so many rules. - well, thats not the case. To some these "rules" limit our freedom, but to me they protect me. I still have fun with my friends and am involved with the community. Right now I am serving a mission for two years in Fresno, CA. I have learned the Hmong language so I can help these people know of God and our Savior Jesus Christ. The message that we can become clean of our mistakes through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, that we are all sons and daughters of God is priceless in my eyes. That is why I am doing this. I left school, work, friends, and family behind for two years to help others build their faith in Jesus Christ.
