Hi I'm Sophia

I'm a Ghanaian, a Texan, a lover of music and dance and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at a great University in Texas; i LOVE school! As part of my college experience i have joined the marching band as a member of the color guard. I love to read but i but my passion is listening to great music and dancing; I am always sad when marching season is over. i dance to my own beat and enjoy every second of life. Although i live in the great U.S of A, i am native to Ghana, i grew up there and i still call it home. I'm a traditional Ghanaian with lots of southern sass and charm. I have taken a break from all that and i am currently serving a mission as part of the missionary force in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Mission, the BEST mission in the world! How lucky am i? I LOVE IT!

Why I am a Mormon

The Savoir invites each of us to come follow Him. He established His church while He was on the earth. I know that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the Lord church here upon the earth; the very one the Jesus Christ established. I love the doctrine and the principles that are taught and it is a daily choice to choose the Lord way. I am Mormon, because i have accepted the Saviors' invitation and daily i choose to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being grateful! I thank Heavenly Father each day by doing His will and being the best me i can possibly me. I live my faith by being me!

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is additional scripture and instructions from the Lord. It is a second witness (2 Corinthians 13:1) that Jesus is the Christ. The Book of Mormon teaches us the words of Our Heavenly Father and helps us better understand and know our Savior. It contains the teachings of the Lord's prophet; it also contains instructions and council from the Savior Himself. The Book of Mormon concludes with a great promise that those who read it and sincerely pray about it can know by the Holy Ghost that it is true (Moroni 10:4). I invite all to read it and try that promise as I have, so they too can know that the book is true. Show more Show less
