Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a good ol' country boy, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm was raised in big wonderful Wyoming. I have two older brothers and a younger sister, who are all great people. And I have a wonderful father and mother who taught us to live the Gospel of Christ. I love anything outdoors.BR

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. My family has been Mormon for generations. But I am Mormon because I choose to be. Moroni's Promise in the Book of Mormon tells us to ask God if the Book of Mormon is true and He will send the Holy Ghost to tell us it is true. I put Moroni's Promise to the test and I felt a comformation in my heart that it is true. I truely felt the Spirit testifying to me that it is true. From that expirence I have come to know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truely the true Church of Jesus Christ. I came to know that Joseph Smith is his first prophet in the last days and that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet today.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is a life style. I live my faith everyday. Its a struggle sometimes and we all make mistakes. Knowing that Jesus Christ is real and that he really suffered for our sins brings comfort when we do make those mistakes in our lives. When we change our lives through the Atonement the quality of our lives improves. I know that by living my faith and repenting when I mess up, my life is alot better and I am a lot happier. The Church of Jesus Christ brings families together and helps them stay together.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is important to God and that is why us as Mormons hold families so high. The family is the most important part of Gods plan for us. In families we learn from eachother which helps us grow together and become stronger so that we can fight off Satan. Satan wants to destroy families. If he can destroy the family he can destroy God's plan.   Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

We are Christians. All mormons believe in Christ. One of the requirements for baptism is to believe in Jesus of Nazarath, the same Jesus as in the Bible that died for you and me. I believe in Christ with all my heart. He is my Savior. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

God gave a revelation to the prophet Joseph Smith that tells us that we should not take coffee, tea, alcohol, tabocco, and other illegal drugs into our bodies. God also said that fruits and vegetables are made for the use of man. I follow this health code only because it is a commandment of God. God gave it to us to see how obiedent we are.
