Hi I'm Cord

I grew up in Idaho, lived in southeast Texas, and southwest Louisiana, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I worked on a couple of farms growing up, and also have worked as a small engine mechanic, and in construction. The things I enjoy are snowmobiling, jetskiing, motorbikes, in short if its got an engine and moves I will probably like it. I prefer living in the country so much more than the city because its just so much more easier going. I am currently attending school in Idaho. I plan on majoring in Psychology, but i want to teach with it. Ideally becoming a college professor would be nice.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a part of His church because I always find answers that I can trust. It is the little things about His church that continually solidify my testimony. I was raised in the church but my parents taught me from the very beginning "You cant rely on us, you need to find out for yourself and build your own testimony." So thats what I did and everyday that testimony is only strengthened in knowing that He has restored His gospel in its fulness back to the earth. Lately I have come to find that it is the one of the only things that brings me joy, peace, security, and sense of belonging. When all the world seems chaotic or worthless this gospel, His church, puts it all back into place.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith, thats quite the thought. My faith is my life. It influences every aspect of what I think, say, and do. I just recently returned from serving a mission in southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. Seeing the Gospel of Jesus Christ change peoples lives is amazing and I loved it. I am now back in Idaho and I seek opportunities to serve my fellow men anyway I can. Prayer, scripture study, and regular church attendance help me keep in mind the big picture of this life and to not get caught up in the minutia of life. Currently, I am responsible for all of the men in the church; ages 18 -30 that are single. I love getting to know and help these brothers.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

If that was the case then we would not be very Christian, so rest assured to follow Jesus Christ one would know that we are our brother's keeper. Show more Show less
