Hi I'm Wayne

I'm a husband, father, lawyer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am active. My wife and kids mean the world to me. When I'm not working, I'm with them most of the time. I like to be outdoors - riding my bike or day hikes in the hills or playing sports. My family is musical, and our kids fill our home with music. I enjoy going to school and community concerts, plays and sporting events involving my kids. My life is full.

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon feels right. I am a Mormon because I want follow all of God's teachings to the best of my ability. To do so, I know i must accept the Gospel in its entirety, not just bits and pieces. The Church is the only place I have found that teaches this. It is too incredible not to believe. It makes sense. It makes God's plan clear, and I know I have a place in that plan. I'm not here on earth by chance, but by design of a loving and omniscient Heavenly Father. Without the Church, I wouldn't know this, or what God wants me to do. I know my purpose. I know how to live every day in a way that will please my Heavenly Father, and that brings great comfort. It gives meaning to all I do.

How I live my faith

My faith is manifest in how I spend my time. It guides me as a husband and father. The family is where so much of my faith is applied. My wife and I rely on the principles of the Gospel to teach our family. I also volunteer in the church and take on projects and assignments to help. Sometimes I give a sermon or talk in church. Sometimes I teach lessons. Sometimes I visit with people who are struggling. Sometimes I help people with physical needs. Sometimes I pray with people. Always, I try to serve others in ways that will help them somehow. I hope that in some small way I do what the Lord would do. It is a blessing to be involved in serving others. Serving in the Church has given me friendships and rich, meaningful experiences all based on trying to help people become close to the Savior.
