Hi I'm Adi

I'm a triathlete and a twin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am an 18 year old, and currently a freshman at ASU majoring in Nursing. I work with Accent on Family Care Services doing RESPITE care. I come from a family of six. I have to older brothers who are twins and I have a twin sister who is my best friend and who looks a lot like me, but we are not identical. I love to swim and have been doing so competitively since I was 8 years old. I play the violin and I love to draw or paint on occassion when I make time for it. I love being outdoors and around nature and I love to hike. I also love the beach, spending time with family and friends, taking naps, eating, and playing sports. I am also a triathlete. I have completed a total of four triathlons, and I love them. I have a blast doing them and they get me in shape too which is a plus! I love to laugh, but at times thats a problem because sometimes when I get started its hard to get me to stop. And that's me in a nut shell. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon partly because I was born into it, but mainly because I choose to be. At any time in my life I could have chosen to reject this church, but I haven't and I never will. I'm a mormon becuase this amazing church gives me strength to over come the evils of the world. It gives me answers to life's questions. Like where i came from, why I'm here, where I'm going, and so forth. It brings ever increasing joy into my life, and helps me understand why I must go through trials at times. Most importantly it teaches me truths such as being able to be with my family forever, and being able to live with God and become like him through the power of the Atonement. I'm a mormon because it makes life easier.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by choosing to read my scriptures and pray to my Hevaenly Father for help throughout my day, and by dressing modestly, using clean language, and trying my best to be kind to others.

What is being a Mormon like?

It's incredible. It brings peace and joy to my life. It answers many of life's most frequently asked questions. It makes life easier. Not easy, but easier. It expands your circle of family and friends. You come to know people you never would have expected to get along with. You always feel welcome. Its fun. And you never go hungry! Show more Show less
