Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm an engineer and a mom of 4 boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering and work part-time as an environmental consultant. I love the cub scout program and run cub scout day camp for 250+ kids in my district. But first and foremost, I am a stay at home mother of 4 beautiful boys!

Why I am a Mormon

My father joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in college, my mothers family have been members for generations and I grew up as an active member of our faith. My belief in the doctrines of our church grew throughout my life and continue to grow as I try to learn more about my Savior Jesus Christ and be like him.

How I live my faith

I've had many assignments in the church, from teaching the children, leading the youth, and having responsibilities for our women's organization. I also sing in the choir and try to do extra to make those new in our congregation feel welcome. These assignments keep me busy to say the least. My husband is also very busy with his assignments in the church. Sometimes it is hard to juggle taking care of my family and my home with so much expected of me, but I know that I don't have to be perfect, I just have to do the best I can. My Father in Heaven knows what is best for me and my life and will help me become the best version of myself possible.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a statement of what we as Mormons believe to be true. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he knows and loves ME and YOU personally. We can have a testimony of many different things such as the basic doctrines of the gospel, specific instructions from our church leaders or even guidance we receive personally from our Father in Heaven.
