Hi I'm Brooke

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I also coach high school volleyball. My little girl is our team mascot and I love taking her to all my events with me. I love to sew, read, and exercise when I have time; but being a mom is my first choice as a hobby. I'm pretty sure the best dessert in the entire world is ice cream.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this life is more than just chance. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and I love Him. I know that He created a wonderful plan for all of His children to be able to live with Him for all eternity. The plan of salvation gives me hope and motivation to do my best so I can live with my family forever. This wonderful plan is made possible because of my loving brother, Jesus Christ. I know that He suffered and died for my sins and imperfections and that He loves me. I gained my testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ through reading the Book of Mormon. The teachings I read and studied spoke truth to my heart and I knew that they were words from God. I love that book! I love my family and the opportunity that I have to be sealed to them for all eternity through the blessings of the temples God has given us. He speaks to us through many tender mercies that are evident everyday, we just need to slow down enough to recognize them.

How I live my faith

I know that families are central to Heavenly Father's plan for His children so I focus my efforts on my family relationships. I have a wonderful husband who I try to support each day. I also have a new baby girl that I am trying to teach moral values and gospel truths to. I also try to live a balanced life by exercising and doing crafts. I know that Heavenly Father has blessed us all with talents and I am trying to develop those slowly. He has blessed me with a body in all its wonder and I try to keep care of it.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that families are the most important unit that God has given us on earth. Our families have the opportunity to live together for all eternity in God's presence as long as we keep His commandments. Show more Show less
