Hi I'm Kristine

I was trained to be a counselor. Now I'm a stay-at-home who loves being with my kids and husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 38 years old and a stay-at-home mother of four from ages 3-12. For 12 years I worked 2-6 hours a week from my home as a counselor. Now I teach my 3 year old preschool, volunteer, and teach a Book of Mormon class. I love history, reading classic literature, playing board games and spending time with my kids and husband. We also love to go on long walks, and enjoy hiking, biking, and exploring new areas.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS home in Texas and gained a testimony after being challenged continually about my religious beliefs. I've always known this is the true church through prayer, fasting, and seeking to know God's will in my life. I feel peace and joy through the gospel and it brings me closer to my Savior. I can't imagine my life without this knowledge - it defines every aspect of my life including my counseling, mothering, marriage and personal identity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by starting each day with prayer. I need the guidance of the Spirit to help me with all of my different stresses and responsibilities. There are so many things I don't know and I need the Lord's help every day. I read my scriptures to receive answers to my prayers and increase my knowledge of the Savior and understand His gospel more fully. I look for ways to share my testimony and serve others. I try to be good. I try to be happy. I try to live my life like the Savior would have me. I am a teacher in the Church and love to bear my testimony through my lessons. I use the gospel to help me in my marriage and parenting. I always find the answers I need through prayer, the scriptures, this Church and its teachings.
