Hi I'm Andy

I'm a husband, father, engineer, and a mormon.

About Me

I grew up with my four younger brothers. Our Dad and Mom always worked hard and provided us with a wonderful childhood. They taught us good values and "raised us right." I left home at 19 to serve a mission for the church. I served in the St. Louis, MO area for two years. Much has happened in the years since my mission. I've married a wonderful women and we have two great kids with another on the way. I currently work as a civil engineer. I enjoy camping, watching and playing just about any sport (especially basketball), learning new things, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Initially I went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon church) because my parents were both members and they took me and all my brothers. Eventually however I had to find out for myself if I wanted to continue with the "church." I have had many experiences which have helped to confirm my faith, but most of all the witness I have received through the Holy Ghost is the reason that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in several ways. Mostly I guess I try and be the kind of person my Heavenly Father wants me to be each day. I try to love his other children. I try to obey his commandments. I strive to grow closer to him each day.
