Hi I'm JennaMarie.

I'm a daughter. I'm a new mom. I'm a wife. I'm a homemaker and a work at home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I used to work at Walt Disney World. I got married a little more than a year ago in the Orlando, FL temple. I made my wedding dress and my bridesmaids' and flower girl's dresses myself. I have a 4 month old baby, and am currently spending any free time to sew or make other crafts to sell in an online business I do from home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member, but I've decided on my own that this church is the church I want to be a part of. I am constantly reminded of my Heavenly Father's love for me in everything around me. I know that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins to make it possible for us to return to live with Him again someday. I have gained a strong testimony that we can live with our families again after we have died eternally. This knowledge brings great happiness to me as the oldest of 6 kids, and as a relatively new wife and mother. I am excited to have the knowledge that my husband and I have been sealed together for eternity in the temple and that as long as we live righteously, we will be together with our son and any other children we may have in the future.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everything I do, in how I dress, what activities I participate in, and how I act. At church, I am a teacher for the children who are 18 months to a year old. Mostly we encourage them to play nice with each other, but we do share a lesson with them about Jesus each week. I am also trying to teach my son how to grow up as a good person, following in Christ's footsteps.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The best way to know the truth is to find out for yourself. As you read the scriptures and pray to Heavenly Father, keep and open mind and listen for the Holy Ghost. I learned for myself by reading the scriptures and praying to know if they were true, like we're told to do in Moroni 104-5. As I did so, I kept an open mind to the promptings from the spirit. We are told in the scriptures that all things that are good are from God. Thus as I learned for myself that they were good, I knew the teachings and the church was true.  Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are essential to Heavenly Father's plan for our happiness. He is our eternal father, and he wants us to have the same happiness he has, because of his eternal family, so as we grow our family, and live worthy to receive his blessings, we can have eternal happy families as he does. Families are important to ensure our happiness as each member of the family works together to ensure each others' needs are met and to make each other happy.  Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Alma 3044 states "The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator." I believe as this scripture says that everything around us, as well as the fact that we are alive is proof that there is a God. I know that He lives and that He wants us to live so that will be able to return to him some day. Show more Show less
