Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a Phlebotomist. I play Volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from California, living in Utah. I recently graduated from Provo College in Medical Assisting. I work for the American Red Cross as a Phlebotomist/Collection Technician. I am the oldest sibling of 2, with a sister almost 5 years younger than me. I used to play Volleyball in High School and Club. I coached it in 2009, before moving to Utah. I listen to all kinds of music, but my favorite genre is Post-Hardcore. Not sure how I got into that kind of music, it just kind of happened. I'm obsessed with cars, I can probably name any car on the road. I also enjoy Boating, Motocross, Indoor Rock Climbing, Roller-coasters, River Rafting, Tennis, Ice Skating, and Bowling.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe this church is true. I've grown up in this church, but I really didn't realize how much I loved it until I moved away from my parents, honestly. I don't have my parents making me go. I go because I want to. I'm not perfect, I know I have things I need to work on. My faith keeps me going, helps me get over the things I think are the end of the world at the time. (For example: a break-up) Knowing what I know gives me the strength to move on and be happy, knowing there really is no end.

How I live my faith

I use my faith by just applying what I believe into my life. Most of my friends in High School were not Mormon. I was always the good girl in the group. I'd ask some of my friends to come with me to church all the time. Not to convert them but just to have a friend there. But later, to my surprise, it did convert a friend eventually. Haha! I live to set a good example, at church, with my callings (Activities, Temple Family and History, etc.), with friends and family.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Nooooo way jose! We help everyone! We learn we should help everyone because we are all children of God. Helping people for a career is what I do. Working with people, helping them somehow whether they are sick, injured, or just need a band aid. Show more Show less
