Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to my best friend and have 3 wonderful children. Even though I'm employed in the high tech field, my wife will attest to the fact that I'm merely bidding my time there until my rock and roll career starts paying the bills (I'm only somewhat kidding). I traded the hot/sunny/arid climate of my childhood home for the cold/cloudy/wet of the Pacific NW 15 years ago, and I love it!?! I like to do projects at home and in the garden, and laugh at slap-stick movies with my family. When the mood strikes us, my young sons and I don Mexican wrestling masks and act out our best "Lucha Libre" moves. I usually lose.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Churst of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The gospel of Jesus Christ helps me understand what my purpose in life is, and how I can be happy in the good times and the bad. Even though I have been raised in the church since my youth, I had to decide for myself if I was going to choose to follow this path. I dicovered, throught personal prayer and studies, that Heavenly Father indeed has a plan for me, and wants me to be happy.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in many ways... attending church, saying personal and familiy prayer daily, studying the scriptures, and being friendly to those around me. But to best answer this question, I think of a the childs church song that we sing, "...I'm trying to be like Jesus, I'm following in His ways, I'm tryng to love, as He did, in all that I do and say..."
