Hi I'm Tyler Clark

Sports are my life. I sing and write music. People are always saying I look like someone. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi! I am the 5th child of 8 kids. Lets just say there is never a dull moment in the house. I love to write music and sing and was the choreographer for my local schools show choir group. I have been raised on sports and love basketball, tennis, and beach volleyball. I have taught myself piano and guitar. If you ask my mom she would say i love to cook which is true but its mostly the good sugary stuff. Sunday dinner wouldn't be sunday dinner without a nice chocolate cake. I am an uncle and have been for about 5 years now. I am away on a mission for the LDS Church but went to college for a sememster before. Converse all star shoes have become my favorite recently. Lime green is the best color. I try to learn other languages but doesn't work out for the best always. Making people laugh and laughing are what i do. I love jeeps and love going mudding or going to the jeep safari and climbing red rock. The outdoors are awesome! And i wouldn't change a thing about my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have found out for myself of the truth and joy of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up in a Mormon family but i still had to make that choice for myself and who better to ask for truth than God himself. I prayed and felt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true and because of that confirmation I will forever be a Mormon no matter how rough life gets because the restored Gospel is there to help me always. I am never alone and for that reason i get to enjoy life and know that my family is forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving service. I have given two years of my regular day to day life to be a missionary in Massachusetts. A full time opportunity to share the Gospel and help them recieve the joy I have as well as help serve others around me. I have also participated in Mormon Helping Hands cleaning up flooding in Rhode Island and have made 100 Humanitarian Kits for those in need. Getting people to feel the joy and happiness i have in my life is a huge part as well. Being an example of what is right even if its hard in these days is how i live my faith.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Tyler Clark
We as members of the Mormon church believe everyone should have the chance to receive the Gospel and partake of the blessings in doing so. Baptisms for the dead is done proxy for those who haven't had the chance to hear or receive the Gospel. By performing Baptisms for the dead we give the chance to receive the gospel and become part of Christ's church in these days. Show more Show less

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Tyler Clark
Tithing is sent out around the world to help continue to bring the Gospel into others lives. It is the funds that buys supplies for missionary work, building temples and churches and keeping these buildings clean and working. It is not used to paid the leaders of the church but is used for service and help in bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Show more Show less
