Hi I'm Akina

I live and was born in the USA. I'm studying to be an illustrator at college and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a multicultural family. I'm the second of five kids. The distance between my age and that of the youngest and the others in my family has led me and two other siblings to babysit the younger ones while our parents worked. I have lived in four different houses and attended the public schools in the areas which I lived. I am currently attending a university and taking classes to become an illustrator. I enjoy movies and some television shows, cartoon or not. I enjoy colors, flowers and cute things, particularly kittens, puppies and horses. I'm short, young, enjoy relaxation and being with my family whenever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was born a Mormon, but even though I was raised Mormon in a Mormon family, I still had to find out for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the true and living church of God. Life has not always been kind, but I have been able to witness and feel the love of Christ as he reaches out to me and those around me.

How I live my faith

A love for the scriptures has begun to thrive within me. I have developed an enjoyment in studying them and learning more about Christ and His love for us. It is enjoyable to go to church and to be reminded and learn even more about this gospel. In these ways I receive more and more reminders of why I need to reach out more to help those in need, and the different ways in which I may do so.
