Hi I'm Randy & Tricia

We live in North Ga on a small farm and are striving to be self sufficient --- we are Mormon.

About Me

This will be about us. Randy & Tricia. We were married on Oct 1st 2007 in Cartersville, Ga. I Randy was living in Prarieville, La. I Tricia was living in Winchester, Va. We decided to meet in the middle, thus we live in North Ga. We live on 16ac. with 5 dogs ( 3 border collies and 2 Australlian Shepards) some chickens and goats and horses. We both are truck drivers. I like to train my dogs and compete in Agility. Tricia is a horse lover and showed registered Paints and quarter horses.

Why I am a Mormon

Randy- I've searched and studied a few religions and came to the knowledge that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. This was a process not an event, think it took 3 or 4 months that I came to know my Savior. Knowing why I am here, where I came from, and where I can go, has helped me through many of lifes trials. As Jesus said, " the Truth shall set you free" and that is what keeps me a member of this church. Tricia- I am a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been a member since February 1992. I believe that the family principles and church doctrine to be the word of God and Jesus Christ, thus the sub-title on the Book Of Morman; "another testament of Jesus Christ". I firmly believe that families can be forever for our eternal lives. I can atest that the power of the Holy Ghost is real and can help guide through troubled times.

How I live my faith

Randy- I also have been involved in the scouting program of the church which has greatly helped me over the years. You cant teach what you dont live. Also doing home teaching( visitng other members) has given me an insight to living the gospel,etc.. knowing that I,m not the only one that is not perfect, and the courage to keep trying to live the gosple of Jesus Christ. I'm thankful that Jesus paid the price for my sins and that through his tender mercies and grace, I might be able to one day return home to my Father in heaven. Tricia- I have been involved with the scout program through our church, which I found to be very rewarding to see the young men of the church grow within the community and with their own personal progress. Through the years I have been called to serve in areas from the small children age 3 all the way up to the young women 15-16 years old. The church has so many programs to enrich the lives of all ages.
