Hi I'm John

I am an accountant who lives in Highlands Ranch Colorado. I love to ski, boat and spend time with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and a husband. My wife and I have been married for 20 years and we have 5 Children - 3 girls and 2 boys. I love to spend time with my family skiing, boating, hiking, running, and just having fun. I work as an accountant for a private company in Denver and spend more time at work than I would like to. On occasion I will play a round or two of golf with my co workers or friends, and I like to play basketball in the early mornings for excersize. Given the chance, i would love to tour the world and see new and exciting places. We have tried to share this love with our children and have had a chance to take them to many places outside of the United States. Those we have met in other countries have been warm and welcoming, and we have enjoyed taking the time to get to know them. I would like to do that more.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I want to be with my family long after this life ends. Through Christs gospel, we can be together again as a Husband and Wife after we die, and I love that opportunity. I am a Mormon because I belief in strong families and marriages between husbands and wifes. I believe in having standards that exceed what the world expects and being able to teach those standards to my children. I believe that every man has the light of Christ in his soul and needs to be taught how to recognize that light and how to live by its guiding care. I am a Morman because I believe that God still loves his children on this earth and that he has a plan for us to be able to return to him again. I believe that Christ is the central figure in that plan and that through Christ and his atonement for us, we will be able to eventually return to God. I look forward to the day when I will be able to dwell in the presence of God again, and I am thankful that Jesus Christ gave his life for me to be able to do that. I am a Mormon because I Believe in Christ!

How I live my faith

I am an active member of the church. I goto Church every week with my family and try to attend church even when I am out of town. I look out for other member of our congregation by visiting three or four of them in thier homes each month to see how they are doing and to see if they need any help. I serve as a leader of the middle aged men in our congregation. We work together to help others with thier families, thier homes, and thier jobs. This weekend, i am going to spend a few hours on Saturday helping a member of our congregation finish his back deck. I work hard to be fair and honest when I deal with others. I try to live like I think Christ would live if he were among us today. I am a positive and happy guy, and try to share that with those around me.
