Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a hairstylist. I'm a Mormon :!

About Me

I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mother to two beautiful little boys! I work in a salon one day a week doing hair which I love to do and get to spend the rest of my days with my little boys, which I love even more! I love spending time with family and friends! I love little kids. I have lots of nieces and nephews and love seeing them learn and grow!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I've always felt that the church was true. The older I get and the more I learn about the gospel, the more the spirit confirms the truth of it to me! I love listening to General Conference and reading the ensign and all the wonderful guidance and direction we are given. I know that it is true because of the way I feel when I sincerely pray and study the gospel. I am so thankful for the knowledge of the gospel in my life. I am especially thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ's perfect example and for his atonement. I am thankful that when I make wrong choices or mess up that I can repent and be forgiven because Jesus Christ has atoned for my sins. I love the light and knowledge that the gospel gives me and feel so blessed to have it in my life!

How I live my faith

I try to be the best wife and mother that I know how to be each day. I listen to the counsel given by our prophet and apostles and try to apply it in my life. My calling in my ward is to be a visiting teacher. I love visiting the ladies in my ward that I am assigned to. I love meeting new people and making new friends! My family and I recently moved so we are new in the ward. We have already made lots of friends and love getting together with our neighbors for family home evenings or just to visit and hang out! I love going to church and listening to all the wonderful, uplifting talks and lessons. I love being able to help out when others are in need.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that families are ordained of God and that the family is cenral to our Heavenly Father's plan of happiness. We believe that husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. We believe that parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. We believe that happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when when our focus is on the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. We believe that by divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Show more Show less
