Hi I'm Jesse

I grew up in Washington State. I ride horses, play tennis, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying Facility and Property Management. I'm originally from Washington but am living in Utah at the moment. I've been married for about 6 months now! I love ranching and farming and the outdoors. Four-wheeling, riding horses, and sports are some of my hobbies. I am also interested in business and new ventures. I have been a wilderness guide and a ranch hand. I am also very into sustainability and helping the world become a more sustainable place to live.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Mormon church by my parents. They are both active members and taught me the principles of the church. So you could say I was raised in the church. My beliefs were always challenged though, as I was raised in a town with very few mormons. So I had to stand up for my beliefs and make sure they were right for me. Now, I have firmly found for myself of the truthfulness of the gospel and the blessings it brings. It honestly is my whole life and I know that without it I would be in a very different place today.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in various ways. One, I am active in the local congregation. My wife and I team teach the sunbeams, or 3-4 year old kids. It is a lot of fun. I also try to be a good example to others and help people out through service. Privately, I strive to read my scriptures daily and pray. I feel that this keeps me close to God and helps me know Him and His son Jesus Christ better.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

We believe in the Bible because it testifies of Jesus Christ. It also goes hand in hand with the Book of Mormon to help us gain a stronger testimony of the divinity of Christ. Show more Show less
