Hi I'm Becca

I'm a twin, married to my best friend, and I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an Idaho Spud through and through. I love the great outdoors...camping, hiking, boating...anything with excitement. I love the big blue sky, the country, and the mountains. God's creations are beautiful and make me happy. It's always a good time to sit outside with the ones you love and admire the world we live in. I believe that the best remedy to a stress-filled day is getting some spiritual upliftment from the scriptures or words of the prophets, and listening to music. Also, spending time with those you care most about. I absolutely love to serve. I love sponteneity and creativity. It makes me super super happy :) Family is everything to me. Life is grand and I believe in living it to the fullest-enjoy to the end! I also believe in the power of hope and patience..."good things are worth going for, but great things are worth waiting for."

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church. My Dad's family goes back to the pioneers. My mom joined when I was a baby, and we were later sealed as a family. I have had what I thought was a "strong" testimony all of my life-especially as a young woman. But it wasn't until I went out on my mission that I realized what I was really lacking...true knowledge about the gospel that comes through scripture study and prayer. My testimony has grown tremendously, and I now have a greater understanding and appreciation for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ has ALWAYS brought me joy and happiness, but greater joy comes when you fully understand the teachings and doctrine of the gospel. I learned this for myself. No one can give you a testimony. It is something that has to be developed by the individual. I am grateful for the testimony I have gained, and I hope my testimony will be ever growing. I know that the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's Kingdom on the earth today. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and that by following His example I can return to live with my Father in Heaven after this life here on earth. I also know that families are eternal. Through making and keeping covenants we can be with our families forever. I have a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. It is the word of God and has brought so much peace, comfort, and direction to my life. I know that God still calls Prophets today and that the heavens are not closed. We still receive revelation because He loves us just as much as He loved those back in ancient times. I love living the gospel-it brings me the greatest joy and satisfaction. For these reasons and more, I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I try to live my life the best that I can, following the teachings of Christ. This includes giving service (temporally and spiritually) to those in need whenever I get the chance.
