Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a runner, a wife, a mother of 3, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom with three beautiful children. My husband is a professor of Accounting in the Northeast region of the U.S. Running is an important part of my life. I run three times a week with a group of friends. I also enjoy singing at church functions and getting to know new people and different cultures. I have loved traveling and moving to new places. Each new place has exciting new opportunities. We are finally settled and are loving our new home. I also enjoy raising my three beautiful children. Some days are exhausting, but the rewards of having happy, healthy children who have been taught good values are all worth it. I love talking with other young moms and getting new ideas of good ways to teach my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home with two loving parents who were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints (Mormons). They taught me to be good and kind to others and to keep the commandments. They taught me to work hard and to choose the right. Since my childhood, I have learned so much that has strengthened my testimony of Jesus Christ. I have learned that I am happiest when I am following the example of Jesus Christ and truly trying to live my life as he would. I have learned that serving others is always more satisfying than serving myself. I have learned that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me no matter what and are always ready and willing to help when I ask humbly and in faith. I know that only through Jesus Christ and centering our lives on Him can we have true, lasting happiness, and can we reach our full potential.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of this church, because of the many opportunities I have to grow. I have organized events for women, taught women's classes, spoken in front of a large group of people, taught young children how to pray, and organized babysitting and meals for women who are in need. All of these are things I've learned to do as a member of this church. I love to serve others and know that when I do I am serving God.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is the organization of women in the church. All women (18 and up) are invited to participate in Relief Society. For me it has been an amazing way to gain faith in Christ through listening to the testimonies and experiences of others. It also helps me feel that I have many sisters and friends that can lift me up during hard times. I also have had many opportunities to help and lift other sisters who are struggling or in need.
