Hi I'm Carrie

I love to read, write, and painting is my escape. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to learn new things, that's what pushed me to continue school after I graduated High School. I went to college and learned and grew there for five years studying English and Art History. During that time I met a wonderful man who I was able to marry and be sealed to for eternity in the temple. Now I work to help provide for our little family as my husband finishes his schooling. And at the same time we're learning together how to better strengthen our family and help it to grow, and loving that we live near the mountains for their beauty and all of the outdoor activities we can do together-like hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. It became a way of life for me. In High School I knew that I needed to discover for myself whether or not I had a testimony of the church. I read the Book of Mormon, and prayed as I read, asking questions and trying to understand all the questions that came up. By the end of my reading, I had no doubt in my mind that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, as written by prophets. The rest of my testimony grew from there. It continues to grow, as does my love for the church. Without this love in my life, I don't know where I would be now, but I know I wouldn't be as happy as I am today.

How I live my faith

I go to church weekly, and work hard at helping the activities of the ward. Every other week I have meetings where I meet with others in the community to see how those of us in our area are doing, and what we can do to help them.

Are Mormons Christians?

Carrie
Yes. Mormon's are Christians. The full title of the church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We believe that Christ is the head of our church, and worship Him as our Savior and Redeemer. We believe that Christ came to this earth, did many miracles, and suffered and died for our sins. Christ is the keystone of the church, and without Him, the church wouldn't exist. Show more Show less
