Hi I'm Emily

I love playing with my children, making things with my hands, and rare naps in the sunshine and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Knowing I am a Child of God helps me in my roles as wife and mother. With a busy husband and 4 energetic children, a majority of my time is spent creating a home and family life that is centered around our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love to spend time with my family and creating things with my hands. The knowledge I gained with my Bachelors Degree has helped me in my role as a parent, and I look forward to someday completing my Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Why I am a Mormon

Thru living the gospel of Jesus Christ, I feel joy and peace, my life has direction, happiness, and love. I am not a perfect person, I love attending church and learning ways I can be a better person for myself and my family. Family is VERY important to me, and because of this, I love the knowledge that my family can be together forever, and that through our Savior Jesus Christ, and his atonement I can be forgiven for my imperfect choices.

How I live my faith

Garrison Keiler is quoted as saying: "Going to church no more makes you a Christian than sleeping in your garage makes you a car." To me, being a Mormon means trying to incorporate the gospel teachings into my daily life. I do this by facing challenges by doing the following things daily: Prayer, Service, Love, Obedience, Working Hard, Having a Positive Attitude, and thru Studying the Scriptures and Words from our Prophets.
