Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a Hoosier. I'm a food-lover. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Indiana in a single-parent home. I love to cook and make music, and I really love to learn more about the world who lives in it, what makes it go, and how it works.

Why I am a Mormon

One concept I know and cherish is that God is our loving Father in Heaven and that he communicates with us by our prayers. I was raised in the church, and for a long time, had never prayed about the Book of Mormon. One day, my mother asked me if I had prayed about the Book of Mormon. It crossed my mind often after she asked. So one day I decided that I would, and I got down on my knees and asked my Father in Heaven if the Book of Mormon is true. I felt a confirmation in my heart from the Spirit of God that I already knew that it was true. I am not a Mormon because I was raised as one I am a Mormon because my Heavenly Father loves me and answers my prayers.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching the children's class in church, and I believe that we should all be involved in one another's lives and serve each other in order to follow the example of Jesus Christ in the best way.  That's one reason why I am currently serving the Lord as His missionary in St. George, Utah.
