Hi I'm Robyn Richardson

I am a mother of six, married 23 years to my high school sweetheart, and am a first time fulltime college student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My family is very active in athletics. My husband and I both coach multiple sports in our small town and five of our six children participate in sports. I love to volunteer in our small community. I believe that I do make a difference.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born in the covenant and have been a member of the church all my life. Although as a youth, I did not fully comprehend or live the standards of the gospel, I knew there was truth in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Now as a wife and a mother, I love this gospel of Jesus Christ and being a member of the only true church. I am so grateful for the comfort, fellowship, and guidance that I recieve as a woman, a wife, and a mother. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me and loves me.

How I live my faith

There is nothing like the feeling of doing service for others or the smiles and friendships that grow through doing something for someone else. As a coach, the best rewards are getting to know the youth in our community, supporting the students in what they are doing or trying to do, promoting team unity and sportsmanship, setting an example of healthy and happy living, and creating friendships. Besides coaching, I am actively invovled in several volunteer committees that raise monies to support our students in athletics, provide opportunities, and promote good choices in life. At church, I have recently taught children 18 months to 3 years old and can honestly say that I love each and every little person and their sweet personalities. I do believe that as we serve and teach these little ones that we receive the love of Christ. I feel that I see these little ones as our Heavenly Father and our Brother Jesus see each of us. I have had the privilege of sharing my love of music and my god-given talent to play the piano for our youth 3 years to 11 years and also for our adult choir. Worship through music is so powerful. I have often felt angelic presence when performing music. God touches hearts with music that words alone could not impact. I currently have followed the prompting to get a college education and am loving being a student. I have resigned from my coaching positions but still volunteer in my community. I value knowing that I am doing something good in my community every single day.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Robyn Richardson
To me, this is proof that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored exactly as it was when Christ lived upon the earth. Just as it was in the time of Jesus, the twelve apostles today are witnesses to the world of the divinity of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
