Hi I'm Danielle

Wife to an amazing man, full-time Dental Hygienist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of 3 years working full time as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I did not grow up in the LDS faith but had great parents who supported me. I grew up with my mother and stepfather and 3 siblings. I am the youngest of 4. We didn't have much growing up, we had our disfunction but we loved each other. I met with missionaries as a 12 yo little girl and decided to be baptized on my own. Thankfully my parents supported me and I worked for many years trying to get my parents to understand the beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My freshman year of high school my mom joined the church putting down coffee, tea, alcohol, and colorful language! 4 years later my step dad joined the church and we were sealed in 2004 as a family. I served a mission for the church in Oklahoma City, and loved every minute of it. I met and married the most wonderful man while attending dental hygiene school in Orem Ut, and we were sealed in the Sacramento temple. Our lives are so richly blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know God lives and Jesus is the Christ. I know that they would not leave me alone in this crazy world without guidance. When I started learning from the missionaries the doctrine and lessons they taught about God our Father and the relationship with his son Jesus Christ, the purpose of our lives, where I came from, where I am going and what I must do in this life to return to them. Since I was a little girl I dreamed of having a husband and a family. The comfort that the true gospel of Jesus Christ brings is the knowledge that I can be with my family forever, not death do us part. It all just makes sense!!

How I live my faith

At this time i am serving the Young Women. So I preside over all of the girls ages 12-18 that live in our geographical region. I help plan weekly activities, teach, inspire and build friendships with these young girls. They are an inspiration to me. They face so much adversity in the world- being a teenager in high school is SO SCARY to me!! I see what they face each day and I try my best to to provide a " safe haven of rest" for them at least twice a week for them to escape the craziness of their lives. Each sunday I try to meet someone knew. The Savior left the 99 to serve and save the one and that is my goal.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

YES!! I know that in Holy Temples there are marriages performed that last not "til death do us part", but for eternity. I think we all think and imagine that...that we will see our families again when we die...but the LDS faith not only believes it but we live it and it is a core doctrine. Show more Show less
