Hi I'm Autumn

I'm an Army Wife and Mother of 2 small children. I am a full time College Student. I am a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Sacramento, CA. I am the only child to a single Mother. I was raised a Latter-day Saint, but my family was not active in the church. I started to come to church as a young adult and a few years later served a full time mission in Nebraska. When I returned I met Andrew and we were married in the Oakland Temple. He recently joined the United States Army and we have 2 beautiful children. I am currently a full time college student and a photographer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Latter-day Saint, I was baptized at 9 years old. My family was not active though and often times I would be the only person who would go to church on Sunday. As I got older, it became more difficult to stay active and I eventually stopped coming to church. I investigated lots of churches, but none of them helped me to feel as close to God as I was when I attended the church of my youth. As a young adult I came back to church and later served a mission in Nebraska. I am a Mormon because I believe that this is God's church on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

Right now I organize activities for other young mothers in our congregation. We do things like go for walks, share recipies and sometimes just talk. I am also an Army wife, so I love to help other military families by lending a hand however I can.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Autumn
Believe it or not, most missionaries pay for their own missions. The members of the Church can also donate money to the missionary fund to help more needy familes, but many of the young men and women pay their own way. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Autumn
Read The Book of Mormon and then pray and ask God if it a true book. I believe that God would never lead us astray and that if we sincerely want to know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's Church on the earth today.. who better to ask than God himself. "If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God... and it shall be given him. Show more Show less
