Camille: Mormon.

Hi I'm Camille

About Me

I work full-time as an office manager, but more importantly I live life full-time. I am continually trying to find my way in the world. I love being around my family. My brothers and sisters are really my closest friends. We play a lot of board games and have a lot of fun doing so. I love photography taking pictures and enjoy others. I am always looking for new and fun ways to live life to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my whole life. It has been a part of me, always. But I must admit that I didn't start my conversion to this church until I was around 18 or so. For the last 10 years my knowledge and faith and hope in the Savior have become such a firm foundation for me. As I continually strive to learn more, the closer I become to my Savior and that is what strengthens me every day.

Personal Stories

How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?

It has given me hope for something always better. Throughout the Book of Mormon there are countless stories of men and woman who loved and served God that were full of hope in good times and bad. In this world we are surrounded by so many influences, good and bad. Reading and understanding the Book of Mormon has given me greater hope in this world and in my every day life. Hope that my Savior will always provide for me as long as I am doing what is right. That is so comforting.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

Serving a mission was the most amazing experience I have had. In general, I think we serve missions because we have been asked to and because sharing the gospel is a fundamental in our church. I personally decided to serve a mission because I knew it was the Lord wanted me to do. The experiences I had, the people I met and the knowledge I gained became a pilar of joy and light in my life. There isn't a day that goes by in my life that I don't think about the opportunity I had to serve as a missionary.

How I live my faith

For the last 2 years of my life, I was serving in the church as a leader for adult woman ages 18-35. It was so fulfulling and so rewarding. I love being among a group of faith filled woman who all generally have the same goals in life. I love serving the church. I love helping in any way I can. It brings so much satisfaction to my everyday work life when I am able to help through church service.
