Hi I'm Judy

I'm a convert of 17 years and going strong. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of two and am married to a wonderful husband. I work part-time as an Optometrist. I was baptized in Dec. of 1995, while attending graduate school. I enjoy playing sports, especially basketball. I love to be with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up somewhat Buddhist. I never learned much about the purpose of life. When I was attending graduate school, I met a mormon and was invited to church. I then attended a baptism and during the intermission, we watched part of a video called "Families are Forever." I was intrigued and asked if I could watch the rest of the video and when I was done, the missionaries asked if I wanted to take the discussions. I happily accepted and in 2 weeks I was baptized. I knew that this church was something I was missing all my life. It explained clearly the purpose of my life here on earth. I am happier knowing where I am going and that I will be with all my loved ones for all eternity. I love to help others and know that the Lord will always listen to my prayers and guide me. I know that through the struggles in my lifetime, that my Savior will love me and carry me through my trials. I know that God lives and that we have a living prophet who continues to guide us in these tremulous times.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Nursery leader. I truly love teaching our young children. I have a strong testimony of Visit teaching and I strive to help those in need.
