Hi I'm Wendy

I've lived in Utah all my life and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the oldest of five siblings. I am married and am a mom to two daughters. I have three dogs (2 yorkies and 1 soft-coated wheaten terrier). I work full time as an administrative assistant. I love to read all types of books...I'm ALWAYS reading something. The most important part of my life is my FAMILY.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of how it makes me feel. There was a time in my life I let my activity in the gospel become less (although not absent) and one day I was talking with a good friend about things in my life and how I was feeling, etc. and instantly it became so clear to me what the reason was...that I had moved too far from Heavenly Father and I needed to come closer again. There is a noticeable difference in life with the gospel and without it, and since that time I've held tight to it because I know life is easier, more peaceful, and happier with it.

How I live my faith

I am currently a sunbeam (3 years old) teacher in primary. I know I have an important job in teaching these young children and even though there are those Sundays where I feel like the children are not understanding anything I am trying to teach them, I am grateful for their sweet, innocent spirits and know that I am helping them to build their own testimonies of the gospel.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Mormons believe that the purpose of life is to gain a physical body as well as to decide for ourselves whether we will choose to follow Christ; to develop our own testimony. Also, we need to be baptized and go through the temple so that we are able to live with our Heavenly Father again. It is also an important part of our life to continually learn and gain wisdom.
