Hi I'm Amy

I love learning. I am an artist. I am a wife and mother. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As the mother of 4 young boys I am constantly in motion. There is always someone who needs to be fed, cleaned, helped or loved. It is a privilege to be home with my boys and I know that I as I nurture them I'm helping them become their very best. Along the way I have been privileged to learn some amazing lessons about life and love. Our oldest son has had medical challenges that have tested my faith and taught me about our Saviors love for His children. I love to paint, draw, create and keep my mind active. Right now my free time is limited, but I'm learning that children grow up fast, so for now I am embracing the love, laughter and chaos that continually fills our home.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because in my heart and mind I know these teachings are true. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me peace and happiness. It has always given me direction and a plan to live by. I find great comfort seeing my children learning these truths that will help them navigate their way in life and stay close to the Lord. Along with the Bible, I have come to know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It contains writings of prophets and by following the teachings found in these books we can learn to follow the example of Jesus Christ and find answers to all of the questions we have in life. I love knowing that I am daughter of a loving Heavenly Father, that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and that my family can be together forever. Lasting happiness comes from following the Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making the gospel part of my everyday life. Our family goes to church together each week, we strive to keep the commandments, and read the scriptures often. Because our church has no paid ministry we all have different assignments or “callings” to help things run smoothly. In the past I’ve taught youth in Sunday School, worked with Young Women, and have been a den mother to all the Cub Scouts at church who are in a troop together. I’m currently helping in Nursery where very young children play and learn about Heavenly Father and all of His creations.
