Hi I'm Sam

I study linguistics, play the bagpipes, and will start helicopter school soon.

About Me

I have been married for just over a year now and my wife is due to have a baby in about six months. I love meeting other people from different places. That's why I'm soon to graduate in linguistics--other languages and cultures fascinate me. I enjoy making music. I have performed in various settings with many different people and bands. The two main instruments that I play the most are bagpipes and drum kit.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. At first that may sound like its just a tradition, and who knows, maybe it was for the first part of my life. But there's nothing that can inscribe so deeply on your soul the simple truths of the gospel like quiet sacred experiences with the Holy Ghost. Our Heavenly Father has revealed to me one small step at a time that His gospel has been restored. That His son Jesus Christ is the Savior of mankind, and that God has an infinite love for all of His children.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have the assignment within our congregation to be part of the missionary committee. This means that we help unify the members in our area, and uplift those that are struggling with their faith. We also have the privilege of sharing our beliefs with other friends and neighbors in our community.
