Hi I'm Ashlee

I love being a mother, homemaker, and wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a BS in Nutritional Science and I enjoy using this major in my occupation as a mother and wife. I love to make and feed healthy meals to my family. I am a very family oriented person. I am of mother of soon to be two. Hobbies of mine are: sewing, creating, cooking, cleaning, organizing, eating, being active, dancing, and relaxing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be born into the Mormon faith and continue to live my beliefs. I have had many experiences in my life which have led me to know that this church is true. When I was in middle school, I began a serious study of the Book of Mormon. As I applied principles from this book to my own life, I came to a knowledge for myself that this church is true. It has brought the greatest joy anyone could ever imagine.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in this faith as a leader to young children ages 1-12. Every Sabbath I get to meet with these children and teach them my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. These young children are pure and carry the light of Christ with them. They are examples to me of how I should live my life. I feel so blessed to be serving in such a capacity.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Ashlee
God is constant and since the beginning he has had men hold the priesthood. Women have other responsibilities and opportunities to be leaders in this church such as leaders of youth or women's organizations where they can make a big difference in the world Show more Show less
