Hi I'm Allison

I'm a college graduate, wife, mother to be, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Taipei, Taiwan and lived there until I was four years old. While living there, my mom joined the church. After moving back to the United States I grew up in Colorado where I enjoyed playing sports and musical instruments. I recently graduated in accounting. While attending school, I met my husband and we were married in the Denver Temple. We are currently expecting our first baby in April!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have grown up as a member of the church my parents always encouraged me to make my own decisions regarding religion. It wasn't until those tough times in jr. high and high school that I began to see the effects that being a member of the church had, and still have, on my life. I was happy, made good decisions, and could always see hope for the future even during trials. If there is one word to sum up why I am a Mormon it would be happiness. Never has anything in my life brought me so much joy as knowing that I am a child of God and knowing of my Heavenly Father's love for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving others. When I am helping those in need I find myself following Jesus Christ's example the most. It doesn't have to be some big and great project, but any opportunity I have to help someone out is something I gladly accept. Not only do I enjoy serving others but because the Church is so service oriented I know that if my family is ever in need we will be taken care of too.
