Hi I'm Mike

I'm married to my best friend. We have 5 children. My happiness comes from living the gospel and spending time with my family.

About Me

I am married to my best friend, and am a father of 5 wonderful children. I am an orthodontist. I enjoy running, biking, boating, water skiing, snowmobiling, and camping. I spend most of my free time with my family. Saturdays are typically spent watching the kids play sports with their teams. We love music in our home. Our three oldest are learning to play the piano. Nothing brings us more happiness than being together.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons I am a Mormon. Growing up, I came to a point in my life where I realized I had to find out for myself if all that I was taught by my loving parents was true. I prayed to my Heavenly Father to find these things out for myself. I know I am one of His children, that He knows me personally, and that He has a plan for me as He does for all of His children. His plan teaches that I can be together with my family forever and that there is a purpose to this life. His plan teaches where we come from, why we are here, and where we are going after this life. I am a Mormon because I have felt the Spirit again and again teaching me the truths of our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I know my Savior, Jesus Christ, lives and atoned for my sins and that through his sacrifice, I can repent and return to live with my Heavenly Father again some day. I am a Mormon because I know families are eternal and I can be with my wife and children forever. There truly is not greater happiness than to know the blessings our Heavenly Father has for us. We are not alone here on this earth. Heavenly Father watches over all of us and provides for us teachings to know Him better and what we must do to live with Him again someday. I know this to be true because I have asked my Heavenly Father personally through prayer, and His Spirit has testified to me that these things are true. We don't have to rely upon man to know His truths. He will teach us the truths if we will but ask Him. We need to ask Him and believe that He will answer our prayers. He has answered my prayers. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith to the best of my abilities. I obviously have my weaknesses, but strive to help others the best I can. I simply try to live my life by doing my best to follow the example of our Savior. I love serving in the church. There are so many oportunities to serve others. I live my faith by simply being honest in everything I do. By living the standards of the church the best I can. And to answer questions anyone may ask me about my faith and religion. It's much more than a religion. It's my life.
