Hi I'm Gina

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I study psychology. I love to travel and write. I love to pull arbitrary foods out my fridge and create a culinary delight.

Why I am a Mormon

By tradition, some may say that I'm a Mormon because my parents are Mormons. To a point, that's true. My parents introduced me to the teachings of this church, and forever I will be grateful. But there comes a point in each person's life that we must really choose our path. Aside from the peace and utter joy my faith delivers, I am a Mormon because I have found the doctrines taught by Jesus Christ to be true, and this is His church, His organization.

How I live my faith

I strive each day to live a life that mirrors the life of Jesus Christ. I choose to turn myself to God that I may be a greater instrument in His hands. So, I communicate with my Heavenly Father and study my Savior's words; I obey Him. When I live my life in this way, I feel prepared to serve others. There are SO many ways to offer service. Formally, I have the opportunity to be a part of a friendship council; our focus is love and our aim to unite the community.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Faith is a principle of action. When our faith is weak, it is an opportunity for it to grow. Jesus Christ will strengthen our faith when we act in a way that demonstrates a true desire to obey Him and abandon all fears and doubts. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Philosophers across time have argued to establish or negate the truth of a God. Ultimately, you can know the reality of God through sincere prayer and other acts of faith. The Holy Spirit will manifest the truth to your mind and heart. Show more Show less
