Hi I'm Faith

I'm a mother of 3 young, busy children. I love poetry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Most of my time and energy revolves around my family--my husband and three beautiful children--and keeping enough order in the house that we can enjoy being there together. I love being outside: rock climbing, hiking, camping, biking, playing at the park, or just sitting under a tree with a good book. My garden also keeps me outside and, though I can't really claim to enjoy weeding, I relish the satisfaction of a good crop (even when the only plants that survived were zucchini). I enjoy almost anything to do with words: reading, writing, grammar, crossword puzzles... My newest hobbies are knitting and crocheting. I especially enjoy making cardigans for my little girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have a testimony that this is God's true church on the earth today. Following the gospel of Jesus Christ, as recorded in the Bible and Book of Mormon and as taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has brought such joy to my life. I can't imagine being without it. Every day I read the Book of Mormon and every day it brings the peace of the Holy Spirit into my heart. I'm a Mormon because I know I need the guidance of the Holy Ghost in my life and I yearn for my children to know the happiness of a righteous life. I yearn for them to truly come to know their Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I know that this church has the answers and guidance they need to realize these goals.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures daily and daily striving to teach my children the basic, and beautiful, principles of the gospel. We attend church every week as a family and try to live the commandment, "Love thy neighbor as thyself."
