Hi I'm Janna

I grew up in Utah, but have lived all over. I'm a mom of three, I love music, travel, animals, and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mother of three children. When I'm not busy being a mom, I like to read, travel, quilt, and bake. I enjoy exercise and learning about photography. I love animals, and my family includes an adopted retired racing Greyhound and a rescued Basset Hound. Music is so important to me, and I enjoy playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family, and raised in the LDS church. I am a Mormon because of what I know to be true - that Jesus is the Messiah, that He established His church, and although the truth was lost over time, it was restored fully through Joseph Smith. I am a Mormon because I know Heavenly Father loves me and has a plan for me.

How I live my faith

I work with the Cub Scouts and play the piano each week at church. I live my faith daily by trying to raise my children to be strong, kind and compassionate individuals with strong testimonies of Jesus Christ. I live my faith daily by reading the scriptures, praying and trying to always have grateful heart.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Janna
We refer to "having a testimony" when we speak about a personal conviction of something that is so sure it cannot be denied. It's knowing something beyond any doubt, having received that knowledge as a powerful, spiritual confirmation. A testimony results most often not from tangible, hard evidence of something, but from the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit speaking to our hearts. Show more Show less
